Diego Alejandro Ruiz Scheuschner (born 19 December 1980) is an Argentine footballer that currently plays for Iberia in the Primera B de Chile.

Club career

Ruiz started his playing career in 1997 with Lanus, he then had spells in the lower leagues of Argentine football with San Telmo, Club Atletico Nunorco and Atletico Tucuman. In 2004 he joined Belgian side KV Kortrijk then Cobresal of Chile. He also played for K.A.A. Gent and Huachipato before joining CFR Cluj. He was transferred to the Romanian club from Huachipato in the Liga Chilena de Futbol. He was loaned to Kasimpasa in 2009-10 season. For a half of a season, he played in Azerbaijan, for Khazar Lankaran, before having his contract mutually terminated in January 2011, and returning to Romania to sign with FCM Targu Mures. In January 2012, Ruiz went back to Chile, putting pen on paper for newly promoted Deportes Antofagasta.
