Dick Chipperfield, Richard Chipperfield (21 September 1904 - 3 March 1988) was a circus animal trainer and circus owner, of the Chipperfield's Circus dynasty. Dick was born on 21 September 1904 in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England. Dick's father was Richard Chipperfield (8 April 1875 - 8 May 1959) of the Chipperfield's Circus. Dick's mother was Emily Maud Seaton (16 August 1883 — 9 October 1974). Dick was born and raised in the Chipperfield's Circus. Dick married Myrtle Eileen Slee. Myrtle was born on 7 February 1921 in Okehampton, Devon, England. She died on 17 September 1995 in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, England. Myrtle worked in the Circus as a booking office manager starting in 1939. Myrtle and Dick had four children, two sons and two daughters. Dick has famous lion show he toured.

Dick appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 3 August 1964.
He died on 3 March 1988 in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England at the aged 83.
