Scientific name Eleutherodactylus quidditus Similar Amphibians, Frog, Eleutherodactylidae, Eleutherodactylus, Diasporus gularis |
Diasporus quidditus is a species of frog in the Eleutherodactylidae family. It is found in eastern Panama and northwestern Colombia from sea level to about 500 m (1,600 ft) asl.
Diasporus quidditus are very small frogs, with a snout–vent length of 11 mm (0.43 in) in males. Although a common species, the small size makes these frogs difficult to find. It is a terrestrial and arboreal species that inhabits primary and secondary humid lowland forests and forest edges, but is not found outside forests. It can be locally threatened by habitat loss.
