Diaphania plumbidorsalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Guenée in 1854. It is found in Mexico, Venezuela, French Guiana, Surinam, Bolivia, Peru and Brazil.

The length of the forewings is 11-14 mm. The fore- and hindwings have a translucent white area with a purp1e gloss.
