Dhaka Krishnachura Blossoms Festival (Bengali: কৃষ্ণচূড়া পুষ্প উত্সব) is an event held in Dhaka, Bangladesh to promote Bangladesh tourism via celebrating nature conservation. It was declared by a group of young people, for the first week of May.

Krishnachura (Flamboyant) is an IUCN red list threatened species. It can be found iin many parts of Bangladesh as well other tropical areas. After a rain it looks like a flower of fire tree. In Bangladesh it is called “Krishnachura" and people love to enjoy the colorful flowers.

History

The festival was first held in May 2016.
