Dexpedition is a comedy travel documentary currently running on MTV which follows Jørgen Kjønø and his friend Tayo Citadella Jacobsen under the pseudonyms "Dex Carrington" and "Fab". Jørgen is Norwegian, and Tayo is Italian/Norwegian.
They travel all over the world to meet local youngsters and study the things young people like about a location such as sex, drugs, fashions and nightlife. In an attempt to "change the formula of "The Travel Show"" they want to make it funny and show that they don't care about the usual things a tourist cares about like history and architecture.
Director and editor Tobias Frøystad and protagonist Jørgen Kjønø ("Dex Carrington") came up with the idea of the show.
The first season of 8 episodes has been a hit in several countries including Norway, the Netherlands and Sweden. They have finished filming season 2 which was based in the USA, though the show is not shown there.
