DEXCON is a gaming convention, held annually in July in New Jersey, run by Double Exposure, Inc. It has a reputation for attracting leading game industry talent to participate, and hosts several national and world gaming championships.
DEXCONs 1 through 6 were held yearly from 1992 to 1997. After a seven-year hiatus, the convention returned to an annual schedule in 2004.
DEXCON 13 was held July 7–11, 2010, DEXCON 14 was held July 6 to July 10, 2011 , and DEXCON 15 was held July 4–8, 2012 in Morristown, New Jersey at the Morristown Hyatt & Conference Center. DEXCON 16 was held Wednesday, July 3 - Sunday, July 7, 2013; 17 was held Wednesday, July 2 - Sunday, July 6, 2014; and 18 was held Wednesday, July 1 - Sunday, July 5, 2015
DEXCON 19 will be held June 29 - July 3, 2016; and DEXCON 20 is planned to be held July 5–9, 2017.
