Devikumar Ramalingam was born in Trichy, Tamil Nadu in 1986. He completed his high schooling in Shrine Vailankanni School. Being a meritorious student, He had showed interests in writing from his school days. He did his engineering graduation in Alagappa College of Engineering from 2003-07.
It was during this time, he started reading Frozen Thoughts (Infinithoughts) magazine from his college library. Inspired by the articles and columns in the magazine, he started writing short novels and stories. His first novel was "The Awakening" which is still unpublished. "The Celestial Hunt" was his first published novel in 2010. "The Disconnected", "The Champion" are a few among his works. His works have a tinge of philosophy and fiction and convey strong messages to the society.
Devikumar's most favorite writer is Tamil writer S. Rangarajan and his most inspired poet is Makkal Kavignar Pattukkottai Kalyanasundaram. Devikumar has started his work for the sequel of "The Celestial Hunt."
