The Department of State Development, Infrastructure and Planning is a department of the Queensland Government. The Deputy Premier, Minister for Transport, Minister for Trade and Minister for Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, Jackie Trad is responsible for the department.

Originally known as the Department of State Development, Trade and Innovation, it was created to encourage investments and statewide growth, and was one of the factors that led to the creation of the 'Smart State' slogan used by Peter Beattie's Labor government. Some of its key projects include small business development, online services, and large-scale investment from high-tech businesses such as Boeing.
