The Deer Park – West Werribee railway line was built in Melbourne, Australia as part of the Regional Rail Link.

History

The Deer Park – West Werribee railway line was built as part of the Regional Rail Link project that sought to increase capacity by segregating regional and suburban passenger services in Melbourne. As part of this a new line was built from west of Deer Park on the Serviceton line to Werribee West on the Warrnambool line to allow Geelong services to operate without having to share tracks with Metro Trains Melbourne's Werribee line services.

The double track line included new stations at Tarneit and Wyndham Vale. Test trains began operating in October 2014 with services starting on 21 June 2015.
