"Deepness" made its chart debut on the weekly Recochoku truetones chart on October 17, 2012, at number 15. On its second week, the song dropped six spots to number 21. It moved up twelve spots to number 9 on its third week. On its fourth week, "Deepness" slid up one spot to number 8. The song peaked on the truetones chart at number 6 on its fifth week. "Deepness" made its debut on the Recochoku singles chart at number 2. The physical single entered the daily Oricon singles chart at number 14, peaking at number 11. It debuted on the weekly Oricon singles chart at number 15 with sales of 5,491 copies. "Deepness" entered the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart at number 10, making it Misia's seventh top ten entry.
