Written by singer/guitarist Ed Roland, the song peaked at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at #1 on the Album Rock Tracks chart for 9 straight weeks surpassing their prior hit, "Shine" by 1 week, as well as peaking at #2 on the Modern Rock Tracks chart making their highest-charting single on that chart also surpassing "Shine" at #4.
