The Decatur Subdivision is a railroad line owned and operated by CSX Transportation in the U.S. states of Indiana and Illinois. The line runs from Montezuma, Indiana, west to Decatur, Illinois, along a former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad line. The east end of the line is near a junction with the CE&D Subdivision; at Chrisman, Illinois, it intersected the Danville Secondary Subdivision.

History

The Decatur Subdivision was built in the 1890s as part of the Indianapolis, Indiana, to Decatur, Illinois, Indiana, Decatur and Western Railroad. Through leases and mergers, it became part of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and CSX.
