Samuel Donegan ?20 November 1911 – 8 June 1972) was a member of the Garda Síochána who was killed by an IRA bomb.

Garda Donegan was a native of County Longford. He was killed by a Provisional IRA booby-trap bomb left by the roadside, at either Legakelly or Drumboghanagh, near Newtownbutler in County Fermanagh. Garda Donegan had crossed the border into Northern Ireland moments before his death.

In January 2013, Sinn Féin President Gerry Adams issued a statement on the killing of Garda Adrian Donohoe during which he apologised on behalf of the IRA to the families of Gardaí Jerry McCabe, Ben O'Sullivan, and the families of all members of state forces injured or killed by the IRA.
