Dayao (simplified Chinese: 大瑶镇; traditional Chinese: 大瑤鎮; pinyin: Dàyáo Zhèn) is a town under the administration of and in the south of Liuyang, Hunan, China. Dayao is well known for its firework industry. Dayao has an area of 63 square kilometers and a population of 53,000. Yanghua township merged to Dayao on November 18, 2015.
