Davit Bakradze (Georgian: დავით ბაქრაძე; born 30 December 1975) is a Georgian diplomat and politician. He served as State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration of Georgia from 2014 to 2016 and became Georgia's Ambassador to the United States in October 2016.
Biography
Bakradze was born in Tbilisi and graduated from the Tbilisi State University with a degree in International Law. He worked for Georgia's National Security Council from 1997 to 2002 and joined diplomatic service in 2002. He served at Georgia's embassies in Switzerland and Finland from 2005 to 2012 and Ambassador to Hellenic Republic and the Republic of Serbia from April 2012 to November 2014. In November 2014, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili appointed Bakradze as new State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration after the resignation of his predecessor, Alexi Petriashvili. He became Georgia's Ambassador to the United States in October 2016.
