David Porter (Australian judge)

David Porter is a justice of the Supreme Court of Tasmania, who was appointed in 2008. Prior to his appointment he worked as a litigator and is a former president of the Northern Tasmanian Football Association (NTFA) and chairman of the NTFA disciplinary tribunal. With the July 7, 2014 death of the Governor of Tasmania, Peter Underwood, from complications of a kidney tumor, Justice Porter is serving as Administrator of Tasmania.
