Dave Strickler was a drag racer during the 1960s. He was from Malvern, or York, PA. Some of his early cars were called "The Old Reliable". He died in 1985. In the early days his "tuner" was Bill Jenkins. Among his many wins was NHRA World Champ Super Stock Eliminator, 1968.
