Daniele de Strobel (1873-1942) was an Italian painter, active in fresco decoration in Parma and Piacenza.

Biography

He was born in Parma. His style after 1910 was strongly influenced by the divisionism of Gaetano Previati and Plinio Nomellini. He died in Camogli, Italy.

  • Decoration (1925) of the Sala del Consiglio della Camera di Commercio (now Cassa di Risparmio di Parma e Piacenza) along with Giuseppe Carmignani
  • Rogo d’eroi (1905) awarded Premio della Pace at a 1906 exhibition in Milan. The painting denounces the cruelty of the Russian-Japanese war of 1904-1905 (Cassa di Risparmio di Parma)
