Daniel Noonan (born 28 October 1979 in Warren , New South Wales) is an Australian national, Olympic and world-champion rower.

Noonan took up rowing at St Ignatius College, Riverview during his secondary schooling. At Riverview he stroked the school 1st VIII to victory in the Riverview Gold Cup regatta, the first time the Riverview VIII had ever won this race. His senior rowing has been with the Mosman Rowing Club.

Noonan competes in a quad scull and has raced for Australia at four World Championships winning gold in 2011, bronze in 2010 and silver in 2009. At the 2011 Australian Rowing Championships he raced in a single scull, double scull and the quad, claiming the national title in the 4X.

He competed in the Quad scull at 2008 Beijing for a fourth place in the Olympic final and won a bronze medal from the stroke seat of the Australian Quad at 2012 London.

He has now moved back to where it all began, acting as the head of rowing at his former school St Ignatius College
