Daniel N. Baker (born 1947) is the Distinguished Professor of Astrophysical and Planetary Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Major awards include membership in the National Academy of Engineering. He received his PhD from the University of Iowa in 1974 and his B.A from the same in 1969.
