Daniel J. LaPlante is a convicted triple-murderer serving multiple life sentences for the 1987 murders of Priscilla Gustafson and her two children in Townsend, MA. LaPlante's crime is widely considered to be "one of the most heinous crimes that was ever committed in this state [MA]." Gustafson was also raped, though LaPlante was not charged with that crime.
