Dale Groutage (born 1944) is an engineer who ran in 2006 as the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate in Wyoming against incumbent Senator Craig Thomas. For details on the race, see Wyoming United States Senate election, 2006.

Groutage received a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Science, and a Ph.D in science and engineering from the University of Wyoming.

During the Cold War, Groutage led several teams of U.S. scientists in the Navy, Air Force and Army, developing weapons systems and nuclear submarines. In 2001, he was named by the National Society of Professional Engineers as one of the top ten engineers in the federal government.

In 2004, Groutage was inducted into the University of Wyoming Engineering ' Hall of Fame.
