Dai Chopan (Hazara tribe)

The Dai Chopan are a Hazara tribe, found in Afghanistan. They are generally numbered among the eight overarching Hazara tribes, but not among the five "original tribes". Together with the Dai Khitai, they form the Uruzgani tribe. DaiChopan is also a sub tribe of Uruzganis and the district with the same name is in Zabul provence. Daichopan are the descendants of Amir Chopan, a Hazara chieftain and whose grave is at Grishik, helmand provence.
