Daffyd "Daffi" Dyvyr (12 December 1919 – 19 November 1991) was a Welsh professional footballer who played as a wing half for Llanelli A.F.C., Carmarthen Town A.F.C., and Bangor City F.C..

In 1946 Daffyd started courting Gwendolyn Jones (b. 11 April 1923, Bangor, Wales). Together they have three children: Wendi b. 1939, Mari b. 1941 and Dilys b. 1944.

In 1987 Dyvyr was diagnosed with testicular cancer, and lost his battle against the disease peacefully in his small village home in Llanystumdwy, Wales surrounded by his family.
