Daddy Issues is the upcoming debut studio album by American rapper and singer Brooke Candy. Originally titled Freaky Princess, it was scheduled to be released sometime during 2016. After two years working on it, Candy stated that she considers the record finished. It is set to be released on during spring 2017.

Background
Candy's debut album, called Daddy Issues, is currently being produced by label-mate Sia amongst others. Sia, who is an executive producer and a songwriter on the album, discovered Candy on Instagram and reached out to her, believing “that I was the only person who could really support [Candy] in becoming who [she is] on a grander stage or platform.”
So far, Sia has written at least two song for Candy's upcoming album, one being the single "Living Out Loud" which features Sia herself, and another Cher-inspired record. Other collaborators include Greg Kurstin, Jack Antonoff and Matthew Koma.
Singles
A song called "Rubber Band Stacks" was released as a single. The music video, directed by Cody Critcheloe and styled by Nicola Formichetti, was premiered on August 17, 2015, but it won't make the final cut to the album. It was released on August 13, 2015 followed by its music video on August 18. The song is featured on the Madden NFL 16 video game.
To anticipate her upcoming album, Candy released some buzz singles. On January 29, 2016; she released the first one titled "Happy Days". On February 4, 2016 its video also styled by Formichetti and directed by Renata Raksha was premiered on Nylon, and was later uploaded to VEVO. On May 13 she released the second, "Changes", to promote her second makeup line. It was followed on June 2 by the third promotional song "Nasty" along with its music video, directed by Rankin and co-styled by Candy herself. It was premiered via Hunger TV. A month later, on July 7, the track "Paper or Plastic" was released as the fourth. The music video, directed by Darren Craig, premiered a week later.
On December 16, 2016 Candy released a KDA remix of the previously unreleased song "Living Out Loud" which featured Sia. The original and proper version of the song was released on February 3, 2017 as Daddy Issues lead single.
