DR GARDENS is a place located in Thindal Erode, located 9 km from Erode Junction and 8 km from Erode Central Bus Terminus. It is nearby the famous Thindalmalai Murugan Temple dedicated to Hindu deity Murugan, located on Thindalmalai hillock, in the city of Erode. It is a developing residential area due to the initiation of various educational institutions in and around Thindal.
Most of the occupant of this locality are Educationlists like Teachers, Lecturers who are employed in the nearby Educational Institutions. The area was earlier a fertile agricultural land which was promoted to residential land by the civil promoter in 2001.
