Vision

Seminar Hall

A fully Air-conditioned I-Classroom cum Seminar Hall is there with a capacity to accommodate, around 100 students at a time.

Activity Hall

An Activity Hall is well in place for the kindergarten. It is stocked with Educational Play Material, a Puppet Theater, a 60" Plasma Screen and Smart Board to facilitate fun-oriented constructive learning.

Computer Labs

There are Three IT Labs where every DLFite paces out his learning process. They have provision for single operation by a group of 36 students, at a time, with internet connection (only at some computers). The school has also created a Library of Educational CD-ROMS.

Dining Hall

This is a specially designed room that can comfortably seat up to 100 diners at a time. The underlined concept is that new food gets accepted better when taken in a group.

Audio Visual Room

It is a modern room with Digital Theatre Sound.

Science Laboratories

The latest and the most comprehensive range of equipments are available in all the 3 Science Labs.

Science Park

It is equipped with various conceptualized models of Science and offers concrete learning.

Computerized Library

DLFPS is equipped with a computerized and air-conditioned Library

Play Station

The Play-Station is equipped with colorful and vibrant Swings.Meant for the Pre-Primary & Primary classes to engage children in physical activities, it has become a hot favorite even after school hours.

Auditorium

It is a large room built to enable an audience (teachers,student,special guests,parents etc.) to hear and watch performances at venues such as festivals, competition etc. It is not fully air conditioned.

Houses

The School comprises four houses named after the various planets of the solar system. Such a naming of the houses symbolizes the versatility and energy of 'The DLFites'.

DLF Times

The School bi-annual : a mirror of the activities happening in the school. Student's achievements, the actions in the school, the creativity of the students, the out of the box experiences and so on are shared with the parents, students and well-wishers of the school through the DLF Times. All in all - If something has happened in the school, it is definitely there in the DLF Times. It represents the ideology of the school and is a platform for the DLFites to express themselves.

The editorial comprises a Teacher Editor, Student Editor, Cub Reporters and Student Designers. The team together puts up DLF Times with everyone contributing in his or her way.

Awards

DLF Public School has been awarded with the Rashtriya Shiksha Shiromani Award for the category of Best School. It was organized by the All India Achiever's Conference on the 59th National Seminar on Individual Achievement and Nation Building.

Hindustan Times ranked DLF Public School in the top 3 schools out of 300 schools in the entire Ghaziabad region. The ranking methodology was an independent survey conducted for HT by C fore, a leading market research agency of India.

DLF Public School was proclaimed the winner of the prestigious Hindustan Pratibha Samman 2010 for securing BEST CBSE XII & X Board Results.

The DLF was also awarded by the British council for the year 2011 - 2014

DLF Public School has been Ranked No. 1 across Ghaziabad City by TIMES OF INDIA SCHOOL SURVEY 2014. The Working Group

The Chairman: Sh. Rakesh Khullar has been gifted with his father Sh. Darbari Lal’s sharp mind and keen intellect. An active environmentalist as he is, he initiated various environmental projects including tree plantation in Ghaziabad under the ‘Clean Green Ghaziabad’ venture, a DLF resolution in the new millennium. He has set up the Apney Charitable Foundation and is always glad to share the school infrastructure camp; facilities with the under-privileged. A B.com Graduate from Hans Raj College, Delhi, Sh. Khullar is a Chartered Accountant by profession from I.C.A.I., New Delhi. He is also a member of DAV College Management Trust that manages DAV Institutions all over India. An avid sportsman himself, Mr. Khullar is the chairman of DLF Sports Academy, he is the visionary and inspiration behind the swift progress of the Academy.

The Executive Director: Dr. Mrignaini is a doctorate in Polymer chemistry and has published five research papers in the leading international journals. She had started her career as a Lecturer and has been the founder Principal of the school. Her enthusiasm, passion and creative ideas took the school to great heights. She is young and provides competent leadership to the students and faculty in achieving their ideals.

The Principal: Mrs. Seema Jerath is a highly qualified and well known academician with over 22 years of experience and a brilliant academic record. She has authored numerous books and has been holding induction programmes for teachers and parents all over India for over 15 years now. She is also a Guest Faculty for the B.Ed courses at IGNOU and GGSIP University. He provides the necessary interface with the parents, thereby becoming a powerful medium of communication among teachers of the school, staff, parents and students.

The Teachers: Are well qualified and trained according to the requirements of the school. They have been selected on the basis of their social and emotional maturity and are groomed to develop a warm relationship with their pupils.Training to teachers is an ongoing proactive input. They are exposed to orientation programmes, seminars, workshops so as to constantly hone their skills, knowledge and understanding of the subjects.

The Administrative Staff: The school administration has been strengthened with the appointment of Receptionists, Office Superintendent, Estate officer Attendants, and Transport Incharge. All of them are proverbial one-minute managers. It is their willingness to raise the bar, enhance their competence and strengthen their dedication that makes our school march forward to realize its potential.

The School Guild: The school guild, is the school's prestigious army of 72 well rounded and like minded students who largely own the school and are not only ideal students but are also instrumental in representing the school at a larger stage, leading more than two thousand students of the DLF Public School and inspiring them to make a difference, to be a legend & to live like a legend.
