Cymothoe excelsa, the Scalloped Red Glider, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, the Republic of Congo, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola.

The larvae feed on Rinorea species.
