Cymdeithas y Mabinogi (English: The Mabinogi Society) is the Welsh society of the University of Cambridge.
Unlike Cymdeithas Dafydd ap Gwilym, its sister society at Oxford, Cymdeithas y Mabinogi is a Welsh cultural society rather than a Welsh language society. It describes itself as "a student run, bilingual society for those interested in Wales, its language and affairs".
Aims
The society is apolitical and bilingual (making use of both Welsh and English), with its main aims being to promote and nurture interest in Wales, the Welsh language and Welsh affairs.
Membership is open to any member of Cambridge University, and anyone else with an interest (with permission from the committee).
