Cyfarthfa is a community of the county borough of Merthyr Tydfil, in Wales. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 6141, increasing to 6,869 at the 2011 Census. Cyfarthfa mainly consists of the settlements of Gellideg and Heolgerrig.
