Curtis E. Bennett was an American football coach in the United States. Having worked three separate time periods, he is one of the college football head coaches to have non-consecutive tenure at the same school

Coaching career

Bennett was the head college football coach for the Sterling Warriors located in Sterling, Kansas. He held that position for 15 seasons across three distinct time frames. His first tenure was from 1966 until the end of the 1973 season. He coached again for one year in 1980, and finally from 1997 until 2000. His coaching record at Sterling was 59 wins, 60 losses and 3 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #1 at Sterling in total wins and #12 at the school in winning percentage (.496).

He died on January 26, 2011.
