Current Issues in Molecular Biology is a peer-reviewed hybrid open access journal publishing review articles and minireviews in all areas of molecular biology and molecular microbiology. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 5.750. It is published by Horizon Scientific Press and was established in 1999. In January 2008 it incorporated the journal Current Issues in Intestinal Microbiology.
