Cumanagoto (Cumanogota, Cumaná, Kumaná); also Chaima (Chayma) is a nearly extinct language of eastern coastal Venezuela. It was the language of the Cumanagoto people. Extinct dialects, or closely related languages, include Palenque (presumably Palank), Piritu, and Avaricoto (Guildea 1998).
