Culver Entertainment is a direct-to-DVD label of Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Sony Pictures Entertainment established Culver Entertainment to focus on developing and producing drama, comedy and animated series exclusively for DVD and international distribution. The first project under the Culver Entertainment banner was The Spectacular Spider-Man, which debuted on March 2008.
It is named for Culver City, California, where Sony Pictures Entertainment's studios are located.
