A cubit is a fictional currency in the Battlestar Galactica science fiction media franchise. Cubits are first seen in the Battlestar Galactica pilot "Saga of a Star World" and later seen during the 1978 Battlestar Galactica TV series. They are also seen in the 2004 Battlestar Galactica TV series.
The cubit is gold-colored and rectangular-shaped.
The 1978 series cubits had two designs centered around the initials for Glen A. Larson, the series creator and producer.
