Crysodavarious (cry-sod-a-various), also commonly known as Crysod, Crysodavarious is an infection at the top of the throat, adjacent to the tonsils. Crysodavarious can be caused from many different things e.g. irritants of certain types, however Crysodavarious is often called from a lack of moisture to the mouth, this can also indicate dehydration but only in some cases.

Crysodavarious was first discovered in 1923 by Phillepe Watson-Charmichael, a Spanish doctor, who made his discovery whilst practicing in Venezuela.

Crysodavarious can come in many forms, but commonly lasts about: one - half a day but in some severe cases it can last up to 3 days. In severe cases Crysodavarious can result swelling and the area may become inflamed.
