In Greek mythology, Crotopus (Ancient Greek: Κρότωπος) of Argos was the son of Agenor and father of Psamathe. He succeeded his uncle Iasus as King of Argos upon Agenor's death. A species of butterfly, Euselasia Crotopus is possibly named after him.
