Crossroads Center is a shopping mall located in Waterloo, Iowa. It is a dominant shopping center in northeast Iowa with a trade area that extends more than 50 miles (80 km). The mall opened in 1969, is owned by Urban Retail. It is located in the heart of a retail hub that includes a 12 screen theater, Best Buy, SuperTarget, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Bed Bath & Beyond and many other national tenants. The mall's anchors include Sears, which relocated from downtown, plus Younkers, Dillard's (added in 1996) and Gordmans, which was formerly a Phar-Mor for only one month. Other former anchors included James Black (later Donaldson's, then Carson Pirie Scott) and F.W. Woolworth Company.
