Crocanthes xanthistia is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1931. It is found in New Guinea.

The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are dark fuscous, with the costal edge, a triangular fasciate blotch from the costa before the middle not quite reaching the dorsum, and a terminal fascia occupying the apical fourth of the costa with the anterior edge concave and narrowed to a point at the tornus all orange-yellow. The hindwings are dark fuscous.
