Cregmore (Irish: An Chreag Mhór, meaning "big rock") is a small rural area situated in the parish of Lackagh, County Galway, Ireland. It has a soccer club, a primary school and a golf course. The name of the locality is derived from the Irish An Chreig Mhór roughly meaning 'big rock', a reference to the steep hill which is a defining characteristic of the area in general and the local road which runs through it. It also has a serious soccer club and golf course. It has lots of well known people including Greg Cunningham
