Crambus trichusalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Hulst in 1886. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Alberta, Saskatchewan, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. The habitat consists of grasslands.

The wingspan is 24-27 mm. The forewings are yellowish grey with a thin stripe along the anal margin and one below the costa, as well as a terminal line with four to five black dots. Adults are on wing from July to September.

The larvae probably feed on grasses.
