Crabtreella saccharophila is a bacterium of the genus Crabtreella. Phylogenetic and chemotaxonomic analyses have shown that the strain ATCC 19623 from the species Zoogloea ramigera belongs not to this species, but to a new species Crabtreella saccharophila.
