Costin Petrescu (musician)

Costin Petrescu is a Romanian drummer and percussionist, born in Bucharest in 1949.A graduate of the Architecture Institute, Petrescu joined rock band Olympic '64 in the 1960 and later became the drummer for Transsylvania Phoenix in 1971. Recently he has played and composed electronic, rock, etno, alternative and contemporary music, sometimes together with Mircea Florian. He has occasionally reunited with Phoenix for live performances.
