The Copper Country Humane Society (CCHS) is a non-profit (501c3) humane society located in Houghton, Michigan, USA. It is not part of any state or national organization. It serves Keweenaw, Baraga, and Houghton Counties. The mission of the humane society is to be a no-kill shelter and not set a "time limit" for any animal. The shelter averages 70-75 cats and 10-15 dogs at any given time.

CCHS was founded in 1972. The humane society merged with the Keweenaw Animal Alliance in 1994 to better serve the area. Their current building (As of 2011) was completed in 2005, located by the Nara Nature chalet along US Highway 41.

The Copper Country Humane Society won first place, a $10,000 grant, in the Animal Rescue Site $100,000 Shelter+ Challenge for January-April 2010.
