The Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI) at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, was established in 1996 and is a partnership with the Wine Council of Ontario (WCO) and the Ontario Grape Growers Marketing Board, now the Grape Growers of Ontario (GGO). In addition to its research programs, it offers academic programs through the Department of Biological Sciences. CCOVI has had several graduates complete the undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs, and announced their first PhD graduate in 2007.
