Compsoctena araeopis is a moth in the Eriocottidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1926. It is found in Namibia.

The wingspan is 24-26 mm. The forewings are grey closely irrorated with blackish and irregularly and suffusedly strigulated with white. The hindwings are grey, darker-speckled.
