Communists of Russia (KR) is a communist party in Russia. It was founded in 2009. The Party ideology is Marxism-Leninism.

The KR has regional organisations in 69 regions and operates in 70 regions of Russia. The KR has officially affiliation with the two inter-regional public associations: "The Communists of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region" and "The Communists of the Far East"

Participation in elections

At the Russian regional elections in 2012 the party got 2 to 3.5 percent of the vote and 2 seats.

At the Paliamentary elections in 2016 it became the fifth party in the country. In the elections of deputies of the Russian State Duma in 2016, the KR received 2.3% - about 1 million. 200 thousand voters.
