The Communist Party (Partito Comunista, PC) is a communist party in Italy.
In July 2009 the party was formed as Communists – Popular Left from a split from the Party of Italian Communists (PdCI), led by Marco Rizzo, who had been earlier expelled from the PdCI. The first congress of the party was held in November 2010.
During a congress in January 2014 the party chose to change its name to Communist Party.
