The Committee for Development Policy (CDP; Spanish: Comité de Políticas de Desarrollo, CPD) is a subsidiary body of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. The task of the CDP is to provide independent advice to the Council on how the international cooperation for development is carried out, how it could be improved and how it affects on the beneficiary countries. The Committee is also responsible for deciding which countries can be considered least developed countries (LDCs).

The Committee has 24 members, selected for a three-year term which can be renewed. They are nominated by the United Nations Secretary-General.
